Brenna Whitaker, born and raised in a big crazy creative family from Kansas City. She spent her entire childhood living in historical homes that her parents renovated and restored for a living... some haunted. Her foundation was built in an appreciation for history and becoming a young thespian working in professional regional theater from age 11. She moved to Los Angeles and is a big part of the resurgence of "jazz nights" being popular around Los Angeles. Her “larger-than-life stage presence and haunting vocals” are known for attracting seasoned entertainers, such as Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Tom Jones, Gladys Knight, and Gene Simmons, as well as a younger generation of musicians, including Justin Bieber, John Mayer and Michael Bublé to her shows and getting up performing with her band.
Brenna's debut album was produced by David Foster. Her music is featured regularly on FOX's "So you think you Dance" and ABC's "Dancing with the Stars". Recently she was featured on the new "We Love Disney" album on Universal records singing, "It's not that easy being green" and she was invited to sing on Andrea Bocelli’s American Tour. She is known for curating nights and glamorous shows with her band, "The Brenna Whitaker Little Big Band, they perform at some of the most exclusive private events, weddings and tour regularly in Europe and Japan. They perform monthly at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Jazz Club in Bel Air.
