Ginger Rose Brucker is a distinguished harpist based in Los Angeles, renowned for her versatility and musicality. She earned the title of "Music Student of the Year" at Santa Barbara City College, where she received her Associate in Arts. Ginger then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Harp Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and a Master's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles. During her studies, she trained under esteemed harpists Doug Rioth, Emmanuel Ceysson, and Lou Anne Neil.
Ginger's career encompasses a diverse array of performances and collaborations, including with the San Francisco Philharmonic, Youth Orchestra Los Angeles, and The Young Musicians Foundation. She is also active in studio recordings, having worked with legendary musician Michael McDonald and contributed to the soundtracks of the popular Portal video games. A dedicated advocate for music education, Ginger runs a private harp studio in Los Angeles, where she teaches harpists of all levels.
Beyond her solo work, Ginger is an integral part of several musical groups. She co-founded the Coalesce Duo with flutist Jennifer Jo, a harp and flute duo that performs extensively throughout California and is now touring throughout the United States. Additionally, she is a founding member of the GoOn Ensemble, contributing her harp expertise to their diverse recordings. Ginger's commitment to the harp community is also reflected in her previous role as President of the American Harp Society’s Santa Barbara Chapter.
Outside of music, Ginger has a great passion for science and the field of Astronomy. She is an active member with the Los Angeles Astronomical Society and can be found outside at night with her telescope and astrophotography equipment
